F1 Box

F1® Box is a high energy pop up that brings the excitement of F1® Arcade to new locations in a compact, fast to build format. We designed and delivered the project on a very short timeline, which meant working quickly and creatively. Our brief was to take the full F1® Arcade experience and bring it to life in  a much smaller space without losing the atmosphere, energy or brand identity. The result is a purpose-built venue with 12 state of the art simulators and floor to ceiling LED lighting that wraps the whole space in motion and colour.

The interior is built around a bold monochrome navy palette with layered patterns that make the compact footprint feel immersive and dynamic. As the first small scale retail concept for the F1® Arcade brand, F1® Box sets a new direction focused on flexibility and movement while still delivering the same level of impact as the larger venues.

A modular wall system allows the entire venue, including the lighting, to be packed down and rebuilt in a new location. The approach mirrors the fast, seamless set up F1 teams carry out on race weekends.

The controlled LED lights shift in colour and rhythm to match the pace of the race, turning the interior into a constantly changing performance of light. This custom lighting system was created by adapting a standard product to achieve a far stronger visual effect.

F1® Box shows how immersive design can be scaled down without losing intensity. The London venue captures the spirit of F1® Arcade in a refined and mobile format.   • I came to know Ana when she was appointed Lead Designer on a huge flagship venue for a brand new hospitality concept we were launching at Social Entertainment Ventures. What impressed me about Ana’s approach was that although as a high end project, there was a substantial budget, she always assessed what was the best value when making design and product recommendations and certainly managed to make the budget stretch further than it would have with another designer at the helm.
