F1 Arcade

F1® Arcade continues its US expansion with a bold new location in Denver’s vibrant River North Arts District. Anamo Design Studio was tasked with reimagining the F1® Arcade concept for a city known for its creative edge, cultural depth, and dynamic social scene.
Our approach focused on adapting the immersive, tech-driven F1 Arcade experience through the lens of Denver’s unique character. With full creative control, we crafted a space that balances the brand’s signature adrenaline with a strong sense of place, drawing from industrial materials, urban textures, and the city’s thriving creative culture. For example, we retained existing brick walls and polished the original concrete floors which preserved a sense of authenticity and rawness.
A key part of this transformation was the outdoor terrace, which was built entirely from scratch over a disused car park. Anamo designed it as a natural extension of the interior, incorporating custom banquettes, highlighting the sweeping city views and working with local artist Ally Grimm to design a striking mural. This mural was intentionally commissioned with Denver’s street art culture in mind and to reflect the neighbourhood’s social energy into the space. It also establishes a strong visual connection between the inside and outside of the venue.
The site originally consisted of three separate buildings, and one of Anamo’s first strategic moves was to unify the two main structures by carving out two generous 13-foot openings. This enabled Anamo to design a 75-foot sculptural horseshoe bar that sits at the heart of the venue as a deliberate anchor point for the guest. Cladded in layered finishes and framed with atmospheric lighting and reflective surfaces, the bar was designed to heighten the immersive quality of the visitor experience.
The third building was reimagined as a private dining room, created as a more intimate counterpart to the main space. With its own bar and direct access to a private terrace, the room combines rich materials with integrated lighting that subtly shifts in tone throughout the day, enhancing the feel from day to night.
F1® Arcade Denver is a powerful example of how we design each venue to reflect its location. We balance the need for brand consistency with the importance of storytelling specific to each location. We collaborate closely with F1 Arcade to ensure we get the best possible design for the location and audience whilst pushing the boundaries of what experiential hospitality can be.
