F1 Arcade continues its U.S. expansion with a spectacular new location in Washington, D.C. This is a one-of-a-kind experiential venue where guests can enjoy the adrenaline-fueled excitement of Formula 1 racing in a high-end, visually stimulating venue. Tasked with bringing this vision to life, Anamo Design Studio crafted an immersive environment that captures the high-tech energy and glamorous lifestyle of Formula 1. Set in the heart of the capital, the design for this venue draws inspiration from its dynamic urban surroundings with an industrial nod.

With complete creative freedom, our team infused the space with symbolic Formula 1 elements, incorporating the signature ‘F’ radius motif within the striking bar arches. A true showstopper, the venue’s 5-meter-tall statement bar (our tallest to date!) features a mesmerising blend of liquid metal and mirrored cladding, exuding modern elegance.

Adding to the immersive experience, full-height wall dividers modelled after Formula 1 starting lights create stylish, semi-transparent partitions while preserving the venue’s expansive feel. From concept to completion, Anamo Design Studio meticulously crafted every detail to embody the F1 Arcade’s vision of innovation, prestige, and excitement.

Anamo Design Studio has been appointed to lead the F1 Arcade rollout internationally, with the DC venue marking our second collaboration with this client in the US. Building on lessons learned from the first US site in Boston, our team has successfully enhanced procurement processes, streamlined logistics, improved finishes availability and overall millwork quality, and refined detailing to better align with the overall modern concept.

To make it all possible and create a unique F&B fit-out that is ownable and recognisable throughout the world, our team remained heavily involved in all stages post-design, such as millwork shop drawing reviews, consultant communication, troubleshooting on site and procurement. The support provided to the client in the late project phases, alongside our cutting-edge design techniques, allowed us to deliver an all-encompassing experience that pushes the boundaries of hospitality design.
